had a pre-birthday bday celebration too last sat. main highlight of the day was the singing/krumping/grinding (hahaha to the last one) session at 10 Dollar Club at chinatown. I know the name sounds very sleazy, but haha it's a family ktv lounge. for real! and they only charge $10 nett per person from 2-7pm on weekdays. the first time I went there was with the UB girls:)

anyway, it was just the three of us, but we were laughing like mad women -- at anything and everything! was a fun, clean (well, not so) day. I'll do u a favour and not post the disturbing photos up. hahaha :p we had a bit of a theme going on for that day, so maybe that'll explain some things. no prizes for guessing the theme! I had tremendous fun still! :)

okay, back to cramping media effects into my head. mid-terms tmr! wish me luck:)

I'm feeling the void inside. the second I reached home, I plopped on my bed and cuddled my pillow. eyes shut, mind blank, just enjoying the soft, comforting wonder of my bed. all for a good 5 minutes. just a pillow, but it felt like the bestest feeling I've had in days. I could've hugged anyone else, but I didn't want to. I could've taken the easy way out, but I choose to fight this one.

babies cry becos they know by wailing, they'll get what they want. so if u know crying won't get what u want, u don't even wanna cry at all. I just need a cuddle, but not from just anyone. suddenly, every one else feels like they're out of my league even if they actually aren't. maybe it's becos I'm sure of who I want. I dunno who am I fighting this for. maybe it isn't for you, maybe it's for myself. becos I can be the most uncertain about everything else, but there's one thing I do know clearly.

and you know that too.

maybe they're right. maybe one day I'll wake up, forget everything and finally be ready to pick myself back up. I shall wait for that day. that very day that I can't fight with myself anymore. and when that day comes, I'll regret so many things, but I know I've tried.

finally a weekend that I thoroughly enjoyed <3

we were at chinatown waiting for imma to arrive. there's more pictures for that day, but the awesome ones are not in my camera! so we'll wait :)

I'm looking forward to monday! for now, I've LOADSSSS of revision and readings to do. next week is going to be hell. I certainly won't need all the extra distractions I've been getting for the past weeks. seriously, stop. ENOUGH.

so like I said the other time, I was gonna post snap shots of makeup tricks right out of InStyle magazine. here they are :) I ranked them according to my most fave find first!

these tips are from top US professional makeup artists for runway models so if u're going for an edgy, dramatic look, go for it! though I must say that tip #1 and #3 are subtle enough to be used as a normal everyday wear ;)

on another note, I recently bought a new nail polish from The Face Shop. it's a nice electric blue with subtle glitters in it. I dunno how new this range is, but I'm sure they only brought it in, at most, 2 months back. this new range has more of a disco vibe - electric purples, golds, etc. and I love that the glitter is not overwhelming at all. retails at the usual $2.90 each :)
